2011 Cosplay Plans

I encouraged all the people that post in the Black Cosplayers thread to make a post with their plans for 2011. Its somewhat like a "resolution" for the new year of what costumes and conventions we want to do/attend. I think it will be great at the end of the year to look back and see if we stuck with our plans or changed them.

I am going to be a bit realistic with my list although I have ample more plans in my head. It seems I have started to do more video game costumes - probably because I have started to become more involved in the gaming community/industry.

Conventions

PAX East 2011 - Boston, Mass - March 11-13
i will be attending this event with the Frag Dolls and Ubisoft. We do have free time, but I do not know if i will actually be able to cosplay at this event.


Nashicon - Columbia, SC - March 19-20
my home state's anime convention! I will hopefully have a panel, enter the contest, and run an artist alley table at this convention.

Animazement - Durham, NC - May 27-29
i'm so unsure about this convention right now, but i will attend if i can :)

Electronics Entertainment Expo - LA - June 7-9
another event with the Frag Dolls. OMG E3!!!!!!!!

San Diego Comic Con - San Diego - July 21-24
event with Frag Dolls. I WILL try to cosplay though! I couldnt go all the way to Comic Con and NOT cosplay at all! That's blasphemy!

Dragon Con - ATL - Sept 2-5
i MUST GO TO THIS CONVENTION!

Katsucon 2011

While I am still unsure about going to this con, I have been working quite hard on my costume for the convention as I hope to be able to go. Katsucon was the best convention I attended last year and I certainly want to go again! It was such a fun con and the venue was incredible.

Here are the costumes I will wear:
Litchi - Blazblue
Edward - Fullmetal Alchemist
Ginga - Beyblade Metal Fusion
Dirfloon - Pokemon (?)

For some reason I dont try to hard at Katsucon. That's why it was such an incredible con experience last year unlike the other conventions I attended. I really hope I can return.
